Power Supply Projects (PSP) are Electrical Engineering specialists for the rail and electricity supply industries throughout the UK and Ireland. PSP offer a wide range of services including Feasibility, Design, Project Controls, Installation, Test & Commissioning and Competent Engineers and aim to provide a “one stop shop” service – just like Design Office!
One of the first projects that PSP approached Design Office with was partial wraps for the company vans back in June 2013. Here at Design Office we understand the importance of maintaining a consistent brand and not only were our talented design team able to take their logo and produce unique graphics for their vehicles, but we were also able to print and perfectly fit the graphics in house, adding a smart uniform to their vehicles guaranteed to represent their professional demeanour even when they are on the road!
Design Office have now been in partnership with PSP for around four years and are responsible for maintaining their brand. Design Office have worked on a constant stream of projects covering a wide range of design processes to ensure that PSP have an established and consistent identity. Most recently, PSP gave us the exciting opportunity to work on an impressive new signage suite!
While PSP’s offices can be found in Mallard Court on Crewe Business Park, they have recently expanded to take on a new unit just down the road on the Orion Park. Or course PSP’s brand needed applying to this building so they came to Design Office, asking for a range of signs in all shapes and sizes to establish their new plot as their own.
Before beginning any work, Design Office completed a site survey to physically take in the building; we wanted to make sure we had a full understanding of the brief by taking in the size of the building, where the signs will be placed and who will see them. From there our creative team were able to design the initial set of signs, not only providing proofs of the artwork but also providing mock-ups of the finished signs superimposed onto photographs taken of the building at the site survey, allowing the client to visualise exactly what they could expect from us at the end of the process.
Of course our client was more than happy with the artwork they received and immediately requested that the signs be produced. As always, this process was completed in house, using our finest Gloss Vinyl, Seiko Large Format Printer and Di-Bond Panels, topped with lamination to ensure durability and protection against all weather conditions.
Here at Design Office we pride ourselves in having a diverse team that can take responsibility for every aspect of a project, ensuring that once a client has placed an order with us they do not have to do a single thing apart from wait in excitement and anticipation for their finished product. Therefore, obviously we didn’t stop at the printing and production – we also went out and fitted the signs! In just half a day’s work PSP’s new business venture was transformed from a regular, blue cladded unit to a beautifully branded building, complete with a suite of directional and health & safety signs as well as frosted window graphics for the reception area.
Maintaining an established and consistent identity is paramount for every business and here at Design Office we understand the importance, which is why we make it a priority when designing for each and every one of our clients.
